FLU VACCINATION PROGRAMME 2021-22

Our Flu Vaccination campaign is now underway.  Our supplies have been slightly delayed by the current transportation issues, experienced by many businesses.

For patients over the age of 65 years, we have two Saturday clinics arranged for 2nd October and 16th October 2021.  You will require an appointment to attend one of these clinics, therefore, please contact our Receptions Team to book in.

If you are currently 64 years of age, but will have your 65th Birthday between now and 31st March 2022, please book in for one of these vaccinations clinics

We are currently contacting eligible patients, aged 64 years and under, to arrange appointments for flu vaccinations.   Clinics for this cohort of patients are being added as our vaccinations supplies arrive, therefore, please bear with us.  You will be contacted by us.

All clinics are by appointment only, if visiting the surgery for another consultation, you will be offered a flu vaccination during that appointment, if  you are eligible.

COVID-19 INFORMATION

As you will be aware the Government announced the final relaxation of the COVID-19 rules in July 2021.  However, advice to patients, visiting any Healthcare setting, including the surgery, is that they should continue to follow the existing COVID-19 safety measures after this date.

You should continue to contact the practice by telephone.  You will be offered one of a range of consultations, including face-face where clinically indicated

Access to the practice will only be granted to patients who have a pre-booked appointment or prescription to collect.

If you are offered a face-to-face appointment you should attend the practice alone, where possible, due to social distancing measures, and you will be required to wear a face covering unless you are medically exempt.

You will also be required to sanitise your hands on arrival and when leaving the surgery.

Please be assured that we continue to offer high quality and safe healthcare, as we have throughout this challenging time.  We would like to thank you for your continued support and understanding.

We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.

If you feel that your symptoms are more severe and that the appointment time is too long, then please contact the specialist’s secretary to and ask the specialist secretary to request that the specialist review your referral in light of your new symptoms. The number and email for the specialist secretary should be on the correspondence which you have received from them.
